Event: Table- O -Love

Cupid has stuck and I’m feeling the love! The arrow has lodged itself deep within my bosom and I find myself smitten . I awoke bright and early the morning of the 13th and inspiration struck me, very much like the proverbial light bulb!

Off I went from craft store to craft store, searching for the perfect little puzzle pieces. Low and behold, at one place I find the cutest little felt hearts, at another I found votives the perfect shade of purple and lastly I finally found a reason to dig out my vintage purple glass dishes!

The result was my Table-O-Love. A romantic dinner table setting. This was a dinner to inspire passion. I chose red, the color of passion and love. For the complement color I chose purple. Purple is a deep rich color, that inspires fantasy, mystery and imagination. For the flowers, I chose roses for the obvious reasons but after a little research I found out how romantic iris’ were. Passion and romance wrapped into one bouquet and a little seduction with a couple peacock feathers (also a “treat” for later ;0D). The overall look was a romantic table set in a small clearing in the woods.  A perfect romantic surprise for a beloved.
