Shindigs

Whoever said life is a party, knew what they were talking about. I love throwing a shindig! The smiles on client’s and their guest’s faces are enough to bring me back time and time again. There is no celebration too big, there is no shindig too small and I would love the opportunity to offer my services to you. Below are my event planning packages and then a break down of my design packages. Wedding, Event and Social Packages

When planning events I like to ensure the happiness of everyone involved! A wedding isn’t just about the bride these days. Though the Queen of her court for sure, a wedding is one of the first steps to starting a family. Grooms are  taking more interest and participating these days. Family and friends are there to support the couple and I believe defining roles early and working with the entire family to delegate those roles and tasks is what I’m there for. My job is to conduct the many different voices into a sweet symphony of love!

Below are my specific packages. The deposit remains the same for each package. The deposit is 25% of the total package cost, with the remainder due 1 week prior to the wedding date. If you don’t see something to fit your needs, send me an email I’m sure we could work something out!

The Artisan: $600
The Artisan is a great package for brides who need a little guidance getting started, or at any other point when and where assistance is needed.

What I will provide:
~ 3 Hours of consultation time
~ Referrals to reputable vendors and advice regarding contracts
~ Unlimited email and telephone access
~ Assistance preparing an estimated budget
~ Outline and guide of traditions and etiquette

The Director: $875
The Director is perfect for brides wanting professional assistance only during the rehearsal and wedding day.

What I will provide:
~ Review of all vendor contracts and confirmations of vendor services 1-2 weeks prior to “the day”
~ Assistance in development of a wedding day itinerary
~ Consultant’s services on the wedding day for a maximum of 8 hrs
~ Access to a complete wedding emergency kit
~ Personal management of the wedding day itinerary, vendors and the wedding party
~ Preparation of ceremony outline for rehearsal
~ Direction of the rehearsal to insure the smoothness of the order of procession and recession.
~ Development and selection of ceremony song list

The Director II: $775
Brides looking for just the “Day Of” services, this would be the package to go with. I will be your personal bridal consultant for your ceremony and reception, watching the details and making sure everything runs smoothly.

What I will provide:
~ Initial meeting with the couple to gather information
~ Confirmation with all vendors
~ Conduct rehearsal up to 2 hours
~ Orchestrate set up of ceremony and reception locations
~ Help Bride into Gown
~ Assist Bride, Groom and Wedding party
~ Act as liaison between the wedding party and the vendor (incl. Photographer)
~ Provide itineraries
~ Provide “Day Of” checklists and reminders
~ Ensure that the day flows smoothly
~ Bustle wedding gown at reception if needed
~ Distribute tossing items and line up guests
~ Handle any last-minute emergencies

The Writer: $1150-1250
This package is for the bride who has all the helping hands she needs for the wedding day but fulltime management of the details.

What I will provide:
~ Tip Sheet
~ Up to 10 hours of consultation regarding all details
~ Referral to reputable vendors, review of vendor contracts and confirmation of vendors 1-2 weeks prior to wedding day
~ Assistance in developing your wedding day itinerary
~ Free wedding style consultation
~ Visit to ceremony and reception site
~ Unlimited email and telephone access

The Producer: $1525+
Breathe! With this package everything is covered. All of the components from The Writer package and then some.

What I will provide:
~ Tip Sheet
~ Up to 10 hours of consultation regarding all details
~ Referral to reputable vendors, review of vendor contracts and confirmation of vendors 1-2 weeks prior to wedding day
~ Assistance in developing your wedding day itinerary
~ Free wedding theme and general design consultation
~ Visit to ceremony and reception site
~ Unlimited email and telephone access
~ Coordinator attendance and assistance at the wedding ceremony rehearsal.
~ Provision of complete wedding emergency kit
~ Personal management of wedding day itinerary, vendors and wedding party

The Composer: Contact about pricing
Otherwise known as “A La’ Carte” event services! I can do as much or as little as you need. Just let me know!

What I can provide:
~ Hourly Consultation: $ 65 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum
~ RSVP Management
~ Invitation Assembly
~ Welcome Bag conception and assembly

Social Event Package: The Shebang

The Shebang is my social events package. Birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduation parties, dinner parties and  even mom’s day out, bring it on! Parties are my forté and planning is my greatest pleasure. Any extra social gathering associated with a wedding I can also put together and plan.  Working with not only the bride but the family also, is the perfect way of involving everyone and the extra social events are the perfect opportunity to do that. Bridal social events I can plan are bridal showers and luncheons, engagement parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners.

What I will provide:

~ Contact about pricing. These are a case by case situation and often times revert to the same pricing as “The Composer”.
~ Book Venue
~ Make all necessary preparations for the event
~ Provide detailed lists of restaurants within budget
~ Create theme and design
~ Assist with venue decoration, set up and breakdown
~ One free consultation
~ Unlimited email and phone access
~ One full time planner present to ensure event runs smoothly and see to overall details

Design and Photography Packages
Pricing for graphic design and or photography is a case by case situation. Below is a breakdown of the process.

Design Package: The Creative

The Creative is my design package. With my knowledge and skill set I can offer custom creative graphic design.  When working with brides I like to get to know their personality and dig deep. Learning about both brides and their grooms gives me insight into their world and their relationship. With that knowledge I can create a truly meaningful ink & paper demonstration of their union.

During the first consultation, the discussion will start with what exactly the bride is looking for in terms of an invitation and or paper goods in general. I.e. programs, place cards, pew cards, save the dates, favors and personal stationary. We will also go over paper samples, weights and colors. I will also give examples of inserts and give advice on what sort of insertions and envelopes are appropriate for the style of wedding. As well as discuss the bride’s ideas and even the style of dress. After getting it all down on paper, I will take some time and prepare an estimate.

The estimate will come via e-mail and cover everything from the first consultation. It will give a detailed break down of my charges and an outline of the invitation. Once everything is agreed upon, there will be a contract signing and exchange of a deposit. The deposit is half of the total cost of the invitation suite. Each and every stationary suite is different so prices vary and are subject to change at any time.

Photography Package: The Shutter

The Shutter is my Photography package. Are you in the need of fine art portraits or photojournalistic style candids?  I can help with both. I do not typically take on entire weddings but intimate engagement photos or reception photos I wholeheartedly enjoy. I take great satisfaction in capturing the secret smiles and shared moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

This package’s pricing is hourly due to the nature of the service. Depending on the event I might call in another photographer to help. Pricing  is $115 an hour and an additional $35 an hour for a second shooter.

After the first initial conversation an estimate will come via e-mail and cover everything from the first free consultation. It will give a detailed break down of my charges and an outline of the future “shoot”. Once everything is agreed upon, there will be a contract signing and exchange of a deposit. The deposit is half of the total cost of the estimate.
